Review on Corsair iCUE NEXUS Companion Touch Screen: Enhanced Control with 6 Macro Buttons & Live System Readouts by Nick Griffith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clumsy control software with bugs, minimal customization.

I own several Corsair products and have a true love-hate relationship. I have a keyboard that I love, an RGB lighting system that I hate, and then a Nexus. The hardware is solid and promising. I like the device itself and what *could be done* if the software was better. Since it's iCue, a Nexus plugin, it often crashes at least 2 or 3 times a day. Development support is minimal or non-existent, and there's little you can do with it other than press a key or macro. If it had an API, stable software, and developer support, this device would be awesome. Without those things, and as of February 2021 there really aren't any more, it's nothing more than a fancy table clock.

Pros
  • View detailed, real-time system monitoring from your CPU and GPU, as well as temperatures, fan speeds and more from iCUE compatible devices.
