Review on Bondhus 10687 7-Piece Balldriver Screwdriver Set with ProGuard Finish, 1.27mm-5mm Sizes by Joshua Huan

Worth the price. Good quality tools.

Nice set of medium quality ball point screwdrivers. However, you can also work without torque with a slightly angled screw. That's what makes her great. For that I love her very much. I often work on 3D printers with metric screws and it's not always easy to get a straight line with a screw. They can be at about a 45 degree angle to the top of the screw and they will still snap into the hole and turn it. Of course, the larger the angle to the straight line, the less effort is required. 3 longer ones are too long to get into tight spots. However, larger ones can provide good torque to loosen a tightened screw even at a slight angle. (Sizes 3, 4, 5mm) The smallest 4 can't deliver much torque at extreme angles and will grind their edges or bend the screw if you overtighten. But if you've ever worked with allen wrenches, the problem is getting them to do a full turn without dropping them. They snap easily into the screw head and you can easily screw long or short screws in or out, even at fairly acute angles. If you find you need to tighten the screw snugly, just make sure you're at the right angle, or use a hex wrench for a firm half turn or so. Most of the small screws I work with are small enough that these screwdrivers don't need to apply much torque anyway, so that's not a problem. They are tightened just enough to hold the screws in place. (Sizes 1.27, 1.5, 2, 2.5mm) I love these drivers. I have now bought two sets. If you are interested in 3D printing you can download the files to print your own wall mounts or simply keep them in the thick plastic bag that they come in. The cost of this entire set is lower than the cost of two separate tools. I tend to use 2.5mm and 4mm thick in my printers. Therefore, these two sizes wear out a little faster on me. But getting these two individually would cost me more, so I just buy a new set of 7 when more than one wears out. Luckily, even with moderate use, they slowly wear out. The smaller ones have less metal and therefore will wear out a bit quicker if you use them in torque situations. I'm very happy with the sets I've bought so far and will likely buy more of these in the future, although they last long enough that I don't need them.
