Revains won't let me review this tool, i don't quite understand why, but here it is. Gap must know the thickness. It works exactly as you imagine, it does exactly what it promises. It's not sexy, big or heavy, although it did smell a little like machine oil when new. I bought it online because when I went to my local auto parts store they didn't have it, apparently it's the unit. no longer used to crack spark plugs (do cars even have spark plugs?). It's either that or nobody takes care of their car anymore, I know I'm not working, I take it to my mechanic, he tells me what and how much I need, I give it, pay him and take it back. .But I digress. If you need a dipstick, buy one, it works well!
