Review on Wi-Fi signal amplifier (repeater) TP-LINK RE305, white by Boyan Kolev ᠌
The product is average, Im not sure its worth the money.
I bought it as a replacement for a non-name device with aliexpress worth 800. The speed of which did not suit. In fact, I got everything the same for only 2800.
- Ease of setup. Looks pretty. You can turn off the LEDs at night by timer.
- The main drawback that crosses out everything. Very low data rate. Connected to the main router by wire. In fact, it gives out a maximum of 10 mb / s with drawdowns up to 1 mb / s from a local server at a frequency of 5 GHz, while it heats up like an iron. For comparison, a regular router from MGTS (SERCOMM RV6699) gives out easily 25 Mb / s. Both devices have a claimed data transfer rate of up to 866 Mbps at a frequency of 5 GHz.
