Attended a puppy training class at a local pet store. They hugged the gentle chief hard to the halters. We bought it and it was a disaster. We spent a week getting him used to it for a few minutes a day and he fought every minute he was on it. Tried to walk him with him and we had to pull him like a mule. They gave up and followed the advice of the New Skete monks The Art of Raising a Puppy (excellent book) and bought this collar. Twice a puppy walked it, and the next day we were accompanied by a woman who was amazed. "He's like another dog!" I wish I could give him 6 stars because my pup loves to go for walks now.
