Wow, great tool! I had to replace the driveshaft on my wife's '06 Odyssey. During this work, among other work, the lower ball joint had to be detached from the steering knuckle. I greased the "cup" part of the tool and the threads and it slipped right between the boot and forearm. I screwed the castle nut upside down to protect the stem threads. The finger portion of the tool rested directly on the top of the shank. A few minutes of puffs and bangs! the ball joint was released without damaging the anther. It's never been this easy for me to separate a ball joint and believe me I've had real problems in the past. I was almost expected to replace the ball joint because I would end up tearing the boot. In my philosophy, if the tool is used successfully after paying for it. Well, OTC, you really nailed it. I think anyone who needs to replace or remove a ball joint should get this tool.
