Beautiful but incredibly weak screws
These screws looked good as shown in the photos but were the weakest and lowest screws I have ever purchased for any purpose have. In my case, the installation of boards on the deck. They have a blade tip that is said to make drilling into wood easier. But they were harder to drill into wood than other screws I have. They should be stainless steel, but I've had several heads that break off literally 20% of the time, which is at least 10 times higher than other deck screws I own. In other words, I believe this product is close to being a scam. I chose not to return them as it was inconvenient. I'm surprised this product is still available from Revain.
- Deck Screws have a Type 17 (Auger) tip for insertion into deck materials. They have glass heads that allow the screw to dig into the wood surface
