Great value easy to fit

After upgrading my Ram 2500 to a bigger tire I needed fenders to keep mud and tar spatter from getting in too much. My initial concern was ok as I have cheaper OE style fender fenders than true OEM ram fenders. The quality (softness) of the doors was excellent and I would rate the installation as easy and took around 45 minutes. The fit with my cheaper fenders was amazing. I also found the look (no Ram logos) to be very clean and concise. The woman ruled out adding a chrome "fender girl" later. Overall, I think these flaps are great value for money. An installation hint and some installation tips in this thread. While front mounting can do everything from the side (wheels rotated), rear mounting required me to drill from below when laying on the pavement. I have used and suggest using an angle drill (about $15). I would also advise not to skip drilling and installing the third fastener. While the two fasteners are fine, a little pressure can create a gap that ruins the look of a proper installation. As for the alternative method of eightpenny nails suggested by others, I would caution against trying to drive in a hot nail. - Held with pliers - inches from chest/neck/face. Also, on the Ram 2500, the middle layer you have to drill through is actually aluminum - I don't see how you can apply enough force to drive a nail through two layers of plastic and one layer of aluminum.
