The kit was of a very high quality and was a perfect match for my 2005 Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab 4x4 with 4.0L 1GR-FE engine and 5- gear transmission. The holes in the rubber pad hold the transmission pan bolts in place, making reinstallation of the pan easier. Since the gasket holds it in place, you can screw it in by hand a little while holding the pan against the gear with your other hand. Very beautiful. I used a coat of RTV Gasket Builder between the gasket and the transmission because it was recommended in my "Ha$&It" service manual. The service went well, nothing leaked from under the seal.
