Review on ๐Ÿšด Giro Isode MIPS Adult Road Cycling Helmet: Lightweight Protection for Enhanced Safety by Rick Alexander

Inexpensive helmet with MIPS

I've just started cycling more and discovered that there is a new technology called MIPS that helps with multi-directional impact protection. Well I thought I should update the old Costco Bell helmets from the early 2000's. But when I started looking, there were many over $100. I knew that Giro is a very popular brand and when I saw this MIPS model at this price I wanted to try it. I like the micro adjustment knob on the back. It actually feels like it's squeezing your head, but you can loosen it up as much as you like. Like normal ventilation. The only thing I didn't like about my old helmet was the small visor. I must have had an old MTB style helmet with a small visor. Didn't think it would make a difference but when going out in the sun a small visor helps. But I really like the helmet and getting MIPS at this price point is great. Hopefully you'll never have to use it, but it's worth getting updated tech in the event of a failure. Safe cycling for everyone.
