Review on Roof Gutter Guard Mesh Plastic by Jason Man

Clamps not for gutter K

Installing this leaf guard was a real challenge. After initially struggling with the full length, I finally gave up and cut it into about 3 to 4 foot pieces for me to handle. The supplied brackets are NOT suitable for a K-Gutter as they are not wide enough where they protrude past the outer lip. Perhaps they are designed for a U-shaped gutter. I put them on but they are not very tight. They are also black when most gutters are white. Let's see if they stay in place long term. My gutters are about 5 inches wide at the top so I had to cut an inch or a half from the width of each piece and then I struggled to lay the mesh flat due to my weight when attaching it to the gutter clamps. groove inside. Leaning the ladder against the aluminum pans will slide the pan about 1/2 inch, so you'll need to take this into account when cutting the clips and securing the mesh. The brackets must rest on the rear edge of the gutter. I cut 2 of them too long and when I tried to put them on the front edge they broke. I admit it was my fault. I bought it thinking that having a screen attached to the clips would help hold it in place better than just bending it into a groove and holding it in place with spring tension like other brands of screens do . decent quality. Just open your eyes when you buy one and realize that it can be quite difficult to install. You should redesign the clips to attach to the inside edge of the K-Nut. This would help the screen lay flat and not be visible.
