Great product! Significantly softer than the original part. Aside from the age difference and normal wear and tear of the original, the components on this Dorman regulator are excellent both at first sight and upon inspection. The same must be said about the power windows, which I also bought. Both work perfectly. Didn't even have to do the "reset" procedure required in the OEM part. Don't be intimidated by all the hanging guide wires. The part is only attached to the window at 3 points with simple screws. Check the internet. and use one of the handy picture guides. Do it yourself and enjoy an extra $85-$100 in your pocket * The only thing I would like to comment on the installation that some installation guides don't mention is the little brush on the top right side of the controller. This small black brush may be accidentally smudged in the packaging. Be sure to wipe off the grease from this small brush with rubbing alcohol if it gets wet with grease when you receive the item. Once installed it can be much more difficult to clean and will likely leave traces of oil streaks if the window is lowered more than 40%. .
