Review on MICTUNING Heavy Inline Trailer Junction by Ickey Case

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great suggestion, but pay attention to the instructions as the wire colors are not standard.

This is a good quality junction box with a 7 pin plug but pay close attention to the wiring diagram in the instructions. They tell you exactly which wire colors go where. For example, the green right turn/stop goes to the brown wire on the box. The yellow left curve/bus stop is connected to the box's red cable. The brown taillights are connected to the green wire of the box. Auxiliary color is black and usually red wire. The return wire is yellow, usually black. Brake and ground wire colors are the only two standard colors. In general, there is still a lot, you just need to be careful what you do so as not to mess up the wiring. I have yet to test this, but it will probably be ok. Updated 12/22/19. I've been using trailer lights (15/08-20/19) which I hooked up to this box and everything works great since I took a look at the wiring manual.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
