With my very first desktop computer, I knew I wanted to play games and have two screens, so that meant a CPU with more cores and high speed per core. While these aren't the insane single-core speeds that Intel has, they work great. If you enjoy streaming or recording gameplay, you can play games without sacrificing performance thanks to the large number of streams and their fast processing. In the whole time I've had this processor (4 months) it has never gone above 35% during gaming, video compression, or gaming and recording. It was only ever going above 35% when I decided it would be fun to run 120+ Microsoft Edge tabs across three monitors (which froze). The stock cooler is insanely good too. I've never heard it make any noticeable noise, even with slight overclocking. The fan design is decent, as I wish the AMD logo text was facing up for you to read, it's on the side instead (but that's a minor detail). Wiring is covered in braided plastic and is a decent length to reach most of your motherboard. The packaging is simple and the heatsink comes pre-applied with thermal paste that rubs and spreads across the center of the processor. Helpful Points: High-speed multi-threading for multiple tasks. overclocking capability. Comes with a large fan. 1920x1080 resolution on both monitors
