Nice looking software; does what you want - just takes time
I like the ability to do the depreciation schedule as well as a financial statement. It is very easy to manipulate the schedule to show various year end balances. I dislike that it is not as intuitive as some of the other systems. I wish it was more user friendly. I am trying to find a system that will allow me to do a depreciation schedule and financial statement in one program. I have been able to do this with other programs, but not with this one. DepreciationWorks is very easy to use. It has done what I need it to do. I have been able to see the depreciation schedule and balance sheet for my company.
Pros
- The most appealing thing about using dep works
- Ability To update schedules without having any issues at all.
- Very simple interface compared ot others i used before (like quickbooks)
Cons
- Nothing really comes into mind when thinking if there are dislikes or problems.
- Perhaps being easier would be helpful because its hard sometimes getting things right especially from an accounting standpoint where you just don't know how much inventory cost per piece etc
