When I opened the box I had the immediate feeling that the collar was genuine leather, not a fake. The fit for my 67 lb dog was perfect with one more adjustment hole. I liked that there were 2 loops for the extra part of the collar. This held the excess part of the collar in place so it wouldn't stick out. I ordered pink as my black dog is a girl. I was hoping the pink wouldn't fluoresce, which it doesn't (see picture). It was a lovely shade of pink that went well with her black fur. Collar of decent thickness with nice padding inside. Overall this is a very well made collar and I am happy with my purchase.
