Review on Phillips Velocity Wood Screws for Outdoor Applications by Peter Parks
Didn't cut very well.
Screws are ok, but don't sink. I bought screws expecting to be told they will sink. You are not. However, I have never encountered screws that actually countersink. As screws go they are excellent and at a good price. When connecting two panels, a drill with a countersink must be used. This defeats the purpose of using self-tapping screws.
