This light works well and is suitable for small jobs. I bought two of these to light up some hardware consoles in my home recording studio. The main disadvantage of these lamps is that the switches have no memory. If the USB port is disconnected from the power supply, such as when using an external switch, the light will always turn on in the OFF mode with a preset default color temperature. I'd rather have these lights on when the hardware consoles they light up are powered by a switch on a power strip, but I always have to find built-in controls for them (with almost invisible markings on them) and manually. Turn them on and reset the color temperature.
