Works as expected - my new review
I tried to use the 32GB 3200mhz CL16 DR kit with my ASUS B550M Plus Wifi and an AMD Ryzen 5000 series (specifically, a 5900x) CPU. System wouldn't even POST, the DRAM error LED lit up immediately when power is applied. After reseating everything a hundred times I tried doing a BIOS flashback with the latest version and the problem was solved. Apparently putting a Ryzen 5000 series CPU in a B550 mobo without the latest bios can cause issues.
- Please remember to activate the XMP setting in your BIOS in order to reach 3200MHz frequency. Otherwise, your system might run at 2400MHz default speed setting (Without XMP, RAM will run according to RAM’s base frequency. To reach advertised speeds, must enable XMP)
- May not be as durable as other memory modules under high workload
