Not as compact as a similar radio shop product but at this price point my only concern is that it will work reliably and power my devices Canon camcorder. One failed after a week but a replacement was FAST. no drama Not noisy like others I've bought. Doesn't get very hot. The green power indicator on the brick is helpful. Good range of adapters. It's possible to use other hardware, although I haven't tried it. You cannot switch polarity because the connectors on the adapter are different sizes. If you are very flexible, buy a Radio Shack, although it will cost you $10-$20 more.
