I decided to get an extra key fob to open my car door when I locked myself in our local mall again. I seem to do this once a year. The problem with the extra key for my 2009 Honda CRV is the reasonable cost of the key/fob and cutting/programming the unit at the Honda dealer. But all I want is to open the door in case of another lock. Programming it to open the car door was easy enough and my grandson did it for me. There are some tips on YouTube that are very helpful. My total cost: less than $16. Dealer Offer: $197 + store items + waste disposal surcharge + sales tax. Note. Since the device is coin operated, I have to check this device every time I change the engine oil.
