Excellent thread inserts. I didn't know there were shorter ones until I ordered more long ones, so I ordered 50 of each. This is my go-to choice for 1/4-20 threaded inserts. With brass there is sometimes an issue with which side of the material you insert them from. With brass, I've always tried to insert it from the opposite side of the material whenever I could. It was never a problem with them. Tip: The hexadecimal indicator for them is indicator #6. A bit strange for 1/4-20. 6 is stuck. (Here's another review from me with drill sizes, this information is not on the packages) They work so well that I often choose threaded inserts. You will never use sliding blocks again.
