The best hit for your money!

Bought an A6 Karlink (1G-32G) for my 2009 Toyota Camry. The main unit was easy to unbox, install and play with! The touchscreen is responsive, there are no lags. I rarely use Android apps other than Carlink to connect wired Android Auto. My Camry is one of those models with a JBL amp and I had to purchase a TYTO-01 harness to complete the installation. Also, a custom universal ASWC wiring harness was required to retain the steering wheel controls, but I encountered some issues connecting the original SWC and decided to save the extra $70 for the ASWC wiring harness as I rarely use my SWC used. The main unit has convenient access buttons for use while driving. And the sound quality has improved several times. Not sure if it has an onboard preamp but the sound is amazing. This is the best upgrade I have made to my car which has increased its age from 2009 to 2019. Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • ATOTO F7 has almost all the basic functions you would expect from a normal head unit: (1).AM/FM radio tuner; (2).BT hands-free and A2DP music streaming; (3). multimedia playback via USB; (four). reversing camera input; (5).telephone connections; (6).Video output for headrest connection. Android Auto/CarPlay connection requires the factory/original USB cable that came with the phone. Third party USB cables can cause connection issues like black screen or unstable connection.
