Description of Atoto F7 Standard CarPlay & Android Auto Navigation Stereo: 7in IPS Touchscreen, Mirrorlink, Bluetooth, HD LRV, Max 2TB SSD & 512G SD

Wired CarPlay and Android Auto connection integrate your phone with the built-in display of F7 SE, offering an intuitive and smarter way to make phone calls, play music and get directions while keeping your eyes on the road. Besides, F7 SE has the mirroring link function (AutoLink). The content on your phone screen can be cast on the big display screen of F7 SE. Certain apps that do not support by CarPlay and Android Auto can still be displayed by this option. It is easy to operate your F7 head-unit. When your phone connect with the F7 via USB, the system will automatically detect and run either Android Auto or CarPlay immediately according to the phone operating system, no need to tap CarPlay or Andriod Auto icon manually. Other than voice control, you can also wake up Siri or Google Assistant by pressing the physical key on F7, or your steering wheel audio key (if applicable), or the voice key from ATOTO wireless IR remote. F7 SE version adopts 178°full-viewing angle IPS touch screen, which helps improve the viewing experience in strong daylight, important notifications like GPS prompts can be viewed clearer than the traditional display screen. It supports running navigation by CarPlay or Android Auto while listing to FM radio or USB music in the background (other brands may not); For builtin dedicated charging protocol, your phone battery will increase significantly, while running wired Carplay or Android Auto. ATOTO F7 has almost all essential functions you can expect on a common head-unit: (1).AM/FM radio tuner; (2).BT handsfree&A2DP music streaming; (3).USB Multimedia Playback;(4).Backup Camera Input; (5).Phone Connections; (6).Video Out for the headrest connection. It requires to use the factory/original USB cable that came with the phone for Android Auto/CarPlay connection. Non-manufacturer-made USB cables may cause connection issues like a black screen or an unstable connection. F7 applies the live rear-view (LRV) function allowing users to have a live rear-view even when your vehicle is moving ahead. In addition, it is able to accept 720P HD rear-view camera input (other car stereo brands can only connect to cameras of 480-600 lines). F7 can support up to 512G Micro SD and 2TB SSD for multimedia playback. Get continued firmware updates from ATOTO when available to ensure there are fewer bugs and get newly added features. Great budget head unit

The unit arrived incredibly well packaged with multiple instruction manuals and multiple languages. Very well written and easy to understand. The head unit makes a well-made and high-quality impression. It takes about 5 or 6 seconds to start and lags a bit for the first 30 seconds, but after that it's pretty quick. Android Auto started automatically when I connected my phone and worked without any problems. Overall a quality head unit and fantastic value for money. 10/10 recommend

Excellent double din for the price

Let's start with the bad. It stutters a bit when scrolling left and right, but otherwise runs smoothly. I've had it for about 3 weeks and it's solid so far. Apple Car Play works as it should. I have nothing to complain about and would buy another one. To update! I've ordered another one for my fiancé's car and so far it's been pretty reliable. When you plug your phone into it, it connects quickly and easily. The only thing I noticed is that it lags far behind. It would be nice if it was more…

The best hit for your money!

Bought an A6 Karlink (1G-32G) for my 2009 Toyota Camry. The main unit was easy to unbox, install and play with! The touchscreen is responsive, there are no lags. I hardly ever use other Android apps other than Carlink to connect wired Android Auto. My Camry is one of those models with a JBL amp and I had to purchase a TYTO-01 harness to complete the installation. Also, a custom universal ASWC wiring harness was required to keep the controls on the steering wheel, but I encountered some issues…

Pros
  • The F7 SE version uses an IPS touchscreen with a full 178° viewing angle, which helps improve the viewing experience in broad daylight, and important notifications like GPS tips can be shown more clearly than on a conventional display screen. It supports CarPlay or Android Auto Navigation while listening to FM radio or USB music in the background (other brands may not be supported); Thanks to the built-in special charging protocol, your phone's battery will be significantly boosted when using wired Carplay or Android Auto.
