Performance is good. There are probably a few more expensive models that can be a bit more accurate, but I personally don't use them for precision work. If there is a difference between this and other potentially more expensive/exclusive brands, I don't think it would be big enough to justify a much higher price tag. For the price, the performance is great, and the portability makes it something you can always have on hand should you need it. Very durable and feels high quality too. Good value for money.
