exactly as pictured. Perhaps just a touch lighter (depending on the light), but perfect for the other light blues in my kitchen. The linen is not super thick, it slides easily. You can put a pad underneath. If you want tablecloth to hang over like the picture they have shown, make sure you measure for it. Mine only hangs over about 10-12 inches on each side & only about 6 inches on the ends.because my table is long. (with a leaf added) It's not shiny, and that pleases me. The picture doesn't do the tablecloth justice. I'll try to post a couple of my own. And my pictures don't show the true color either. Their picture is closer to the true color. I think this will launder up ok, but I will only put in dryer on lowest setting to fluff out wrinkles. As you can see in my pictures, I didn't take time to iron it, and it still doesn't look bad.I am well pleased. The soft blues in my kitchen are calming and pretty.
