The smallest brush in the range is the one I use the most and I always put it on the bristles to allow the water to drain, but after a week of use the junction where the wood meets the bristles is almost completely black. I don't like thick pans or anything like that. I cook relatively simply. So I was surprised at how quickly it spiraled out of control. Also the finish is stained and ugly after a few weeks of use. I'll see how I can bleach or clean the grout holding the stubble, but that won't immediately solve the rubbing of the finish.
