I have a Deeper Pro and I love it, I bought a Chirp even though I don't really need it. Having already experienced the reliability and ease of use of my Pro, I knew it would be worth the price. I took it to Fed Ex and went to get water. I was excited because these guys from Deeper are at the top. I've had other sonars, some of which were pretty fancy and expensive. Came out of the box charged, I put it in the stand, launched the app when I dropped it, and bam. He was connected. (I only paid $150 for my phone, it's not powerful or fancy). I was amazed at the details of this 3rd frequency. Instead of weeds, I saw every weed. The detail of the tree trunks and branches below, as well as those hiding next to them, was amazing. This thing is going to be really fun to map and explore. Once again, Deeper threw him out of the park. I built my own mount and use a Kiak often when both Pro and Chirp show off their skills. I would definitely recommend the Pro or Chirp to anyone serious about fishing or charting. You used to have to attach a boat to the sonar and only be able to go where your boat could go, no more! I use mine in both lakes and rivers. I live in North Dakota near the Red River and have often used my pro to search wrecks of 19th century steamboats for loot. Can't wait to get Chirp working for these walks, the smallest details I've experienced with it, maybe now I can find and identify this treasure.
