won't buy from Kitchen & Dining again

Edit: 01/04/2019, less than a year after purchasing this item the plastic part you list below broke. I can not use. I don't recommend it as it doesn't last long. I was a bit worried about some of the negative reviews about it before I bought it. Bought it anyway. don't regret it I have a little obsessive compulsive disorder and don't like it now my salt shaker doesn't fit in my pepper grinder but oh well. I've seen some complaints about fine/coarse tuning. I managed to fine-tune it just fine, although it takes some power to do so. I cook with a lot of pepper so the traditional meat grinder which requires you to hold the top well doesn't work for me as I almost always have olive oil etc on hand which makes chopping almost impossible without washing your hands first. Your hands may be slippery with this grinder and it will not affect your grip. Also, this thing grinds more pepper much faster than a traditional pepper mill. I don't have a whole day to cook and this coffee grinder gets the job done. Cons: I don't like the bottom lid. I have to separate it with two hands when picking it up, and sometimes it just falls off by itself when I pick it up. Either design one that stays when you pick it up, or one that doesn't stay when you pick it up. I just want to know. I'm not keeping the grinder on this lid until I'm done with it. It's worth the money and haven't had any problems with it so far. The best grinder I've ever had. I should have switched to this style sooner.

Pros
  • Long arm makes sanding easier
Cons
  • I'm writing back
