This was the second antenna I tried on my truck (the first was not from this company) and it worked perfectly. Installation was easy, took maybe 10 minutes and involved cutting the rubber grommet/sleeve covering the base of the antenna to bring that look back to the truck. dB is slightly lower, especially in the AM band. When driving under power lines, it is very noticeable. FM has some losses, but not much. The transmitters that I live near broadcast about 40 miles away with no hills or other obstacles in between. Overall I am happy with the replacement.
