Works well but reception is not as good as the factory 31" antenna so I deducted a star. Not big enough to return or try another product but I would happily go with the 21 inch option. The antenna is no higher than the truck and will likely give better reception.

Oh this little 6 3/4" has some serious reception. It honestly could be better than the extra long standard. I put this on my 2014 F250 Super Duty. Bluetooth and my own music , but sometimes I like to listen to ball games. This little antenna stretches out and gets what I need. It's powerful!

Great antenna, especially for a truck. Considering my truck weighs 3/4 tons, it sits high and the antenna hits every low branch in the terrain. The only reason for four stars is that reception is not that good on "some" stations, but just as good on most. It's a small price to pay to keep my antenna from banging on branches.

I live just outside of Washington DC so there are a lot of signals in the air and in tall buildings. This antenna worked great for all local radio stations. I also drove my truck through a car wash and didn't have to take it off. The antenna never bent or broke when the rotating brushes passed over it. I am very satisfied with this product.

First, the adapter bolt on this piece of scrap isn't long enough. Second, the entire body is made out of cheap plastic and rubber, not some flexible space-age material. After repeated testing between this 17" and the original, it became clear that there was significant signal loss when using this junk.

This was the second antenna I tried on my truck (the first was not from this company) and it worked perfectly. Installation was easy, took maybe 10 minutes and involved cutting the rubber grommet/sleeve covering the base of the antenna to bring that look back to the truck. dB is slightly lower, especially in the AM band. Fitted on a 2000 F-250. Before I installed this, I checked the reception of a known station. And then again after installing this antenna. I live in the middle of nowhere in a valley and all previous "short" antennas have failed miserably. However, this little guy gets all the channels that normally come in. The only station I didn't receive was when the moon and stars aligned, so I can't resist that little mast. My only issue right now is that the base is big and looks out of place (on my car)

I bought a 5 inch aluminum model for my 2011 heavy truck. Although it looks great and is very easy to install (it took about 1 minute), the reception is not very good. I drive through the canyon every day on my way to work. With my standard antenna my radio would just break down and get a bit static, with this one I lose signal completely for about 3 miles of driving. Driving through the canyon into town it works great, but to say it's as good or better than the factory antenna would be a lie…
