The stolen honor 8x prompted me to purchase this replacement for my mom. Because everyone's eyes are different, the primary need was for a much larger and better quality screen. The phone is adequate for its primary function, and the aforementioned drawbacks are only my personal view. I was really frustrated by the fingerprint scanner, especially when I initially managed to insert fingerprints and have them identified. But, after the protective glass was glued in place, the newly added fingerprints could no longer be read, even when the settings were adjusted to maximum sensitivity. As soon as the fingerprints were removed, adding them again proved impossible; an error message appeared each time a fingerprint was attempted to be added. If you consider the asking price and the flaws I've pointed out, you'll see why I can't endorse this product. In general, you should look elsewhere.
