Bought a pair to keep my cat from jumping into living quarters to sleep on couch or bed. It's the perfect height to keep that feline athlete from going anywhere, allowing the pellet stove to heat the entire house. Strong material but uneven construction. One arrived undamaged, the other damaged. I checked the box and sure enough it said "Made in China". I checked the website as Revane recommended calling MidWestHomes4Pets customer service. Lots of false advertising on the MidwestHomes4Pets website stating that it is the largest pet supply headquartered home in the US. Note the stress on the word "Headquarters". They try to make it look like they are hiring hard working Americans to make a homemade product in the Midwest, but it's really just another lie from an American company making overpriced crap in China. Contact customer service to replace the defective parts. As if I had the time or inclination to take the pet gate apart and replace some of the broken parts? NEVER order from MidWestHomes4Pets again and I advise everyone against it. Cheap overpriced products made in China for cents per dollar and they want to charge us $50 for that crap. No thank you.
