This device is top notch, at least that's my experience. Although I've had some issues recently when at the same time the 2000 GPH pump broke down within two months of use despite having a four year warranty. The Revain representative told me that I would need to contact the manufacturer as my Revain temporary warranty would only be for 30 days and I would need to contact the manufacturer from that point forward. (somewhere in China) I understand Revain's policy but to be honest I expected more from this company. And then it happened that a cheap float switch failed 48 hours after installation. However, it happens that the cost of installation is at least three times the cost of the device. So I went with the RULE just to be on the safe side. This is my recommendation. Anyone who needs to replace a damaged float switch that is always as deep and inaccessible as the boat builder can dictate.
