I've had the same problems as others have mentioned, I think it may be due to poor pouring. I oiled all the switches on top and it made a definite improvement and reduced the plastic friction squeak on the plastic. This hasn't caused any problems with the electronics so far and I've wiped excess oil off the surface with a damp paper towel with some dish soap and a second wipe with window cleaner, an oil needle applicator would be just fine. I was too lazy to buy WD-40 which I think will do the same.
