Review on Air Lift 88399 LoadLIFTER Adjustable by Robert Chandrasekar

Great product - could be an issue with installation.

Bought on discount as packaging was damaged. The seller stated that all parts were present and any damage was superficial. Arrived quickly and well packaged. The original packaging was indeed damaged and partially torn. On inspection all parts were present and all visible damage was cosmetic - mostly the steel brackets had paint scuffs. Nothing serious. I considered myself a person with good mechanical skills and after watching a few installation videos I felt confident that I could complete the installation. In my opinion the installation went as well as you would expect from someone with limited experience installing such equipment. There have been problems - my F-450 has a torsion bar or anti-roll bar that runs along the rear axle. This required some modifications to the pair of mounting bolts. I had to try to make mistakes, but in the end it turned out the way it was intended. Another issue was a few extra holes in the mounting brackets that weren't listed in the instructions. Trial and error again to find the right holes. The instructions would have been a bit complicated if I hadn't watched a few YouTube videos on how to install it. Installation took longer than expected, but it was worth it. No air leaks. I can tell the difference the first time I towed my 14,000 pound gooseneck trailer. They're not cheap, but worth the money in my opinion.
