I'm already using the bottom 1.5 GPM showerhead, but I adjust it so I can turn it off almost completely while lathering and then turn it back on to rinse off. If I turned the shower off entirely with the normal controls, I would have to wait for the water to heat up again, so this works great. I would say you have to be very careful only to use it when you can reach it easily and are sure you have your balance to avoid injury from slipping in the tub. I'm about 5ft 11" tall and can easily reach them with my feet on the bottom of the tub and I think my showerhead is a pretty standard height. It was easy to install - I used duct tape and didn't. It's a great way to save some water and reduce water heater energy consumption.
