With all the sizing options, I was a little worried about finding the right one. It's the perfect spoon to leave in our ice basket to fill glasses or a small pitcher. If you want to fill the cool box, you'll probably need a little more. Some reviews have mentioned cold handles but I think that's what I expected from something stored at 0 degrees. That's why I only gave "warmth" a three. I'm not counting on a warm ice scoop handle. Don't touch it with wet hands, that's probably good advice. I was willing to cover the handle with heat shrink tubing for insulation but didn't feel the need after using the shovel for a couple of weeks.
