My dog thought my chair was actually her bed. It was an old play and she's a good girl, so who would argue with that. Last year I had a blanket like blanket over her but she is so active she was constantly moving! Permanently unprotected upholstery wears out quickly! I bought it hoping it would hold up better - with the ability to wash off the dog smell from time to time. It fits fairly well, although the sides aren't as snug as I'd like. But from the front and for most people, it looks great. These pictures were taken at night. If the dog has been jumping up and down so far, it seems well built and staying in place. I think Design Part 2 will definitely help keep it that way. I will update my review after a month of wearing and washing. I've had this cover for many months now - it washes fairly well. Sometimes I just delete the part covering the couch and sometimes I delete both parts. My only complaint is that my large dog puts holes in the smaller pillowcase quite easily. (Two pillows together were correct). I would like to purchase this particular piece as it is the only piece that shows signs of wear.
