Review on π 14-inch Length Starrett K53-14-N Carpenter's Try Square in Stainless Steel by Bruce Marable
Mine wasn't square
I have used Starrett products before and found them to be of very high quality but this square is not true. I ran several squareness tests and found that this is not the case. Admittedly, the packaging of the product wasn't perfect, so there may have been some bumps in transit. Maybe it was square when it left the factory? It's ok for rough carpentry work, but not so much for finer work.
