I have tried other clays which may be more technically convenient for some but not for me. I prefer this purer, more elemental form of clay. It has a faster drying time than others and is easier to finish (and cheaper if you use aerosol seals). I like to use regular clay, earthy, unscented, malleable and complex. I like my pieces to look unique and personal; to reflect on my work and efforts. I don't want my work to look like it came off an assembly line in a far-off country. I want natural shades of earthy tones.
