Smooth texture in ceramics and pottery

I liked that the clay did not contain sand. It can be processed smooth and supple. After drying, it remains the same terracotta color. I've seen other clays dried to a soft pink color. I suggest you also get some sculpting tools to enhance your work.

Very handy on hand - many uses

Great item. Remains malleable when tightly wrapped but dries quickly with use. Convenient to have it on hand for different uses. I attached the lantern to the pole where the part holding the bottle didn't stay upright by inserting pieces of clay into the base around the lamp socket and pressing - there was some shrinkage as it dried so I added some more and now it's done. Celebration. There are probably thousands of other uses - I think it's nice to have something to hand.

I didn't like it and smelled like home.

This stuff smells all over my house. I didn't even take it out of the box it came in and the whole time I felt something strange and then the kids asked about the smell. It wasn't until I opened the package that I realized it was clay. I played with it for about an hour while watching YouTube videos, but it continued to harden during the modeling process and was already very hard, so it wasn't easy to work with. With. Natural look and feel.

I have tried other clays which may be more technically convenient for some but not for me. I prefer this purer, more elemental form of clay. It has a faster drying time than others and is easier to finish (and cheaper if you use aerosol seals). I like to use regular clay, earthy, unscented, malleable and complex. I like my pieces to look unique and personal; to reflect on my work and efforts. I don't want my work to look like it came off an assembly line in a far-off country. I want natural…
