I bought a few pieces to test employees and guests. It is easy to use and allows you to take the temperature of several people one after the other without switching it off in between. This is a big plus as it significantly reduces the time that group members arriving at the same time have to wait for controls. Accuracy is hard to say because it measures the warmth of the skin, not the core like a sublingual thermometer, and many factors affect skin temperature besides fever. For example, if someone has just returned from the beach lying in the sun, their temperature measured by this thermometer will be higher than if they had just left the house. Before we start, we did a lot of reading and found that there is roughly a certain difference between this IR thermometer and an undertongue thermometer. So instead of looking for temperatures of 100.5 and above, which is what the CDC calls temperature, we're looking for temperatures of 99.5 and above. Calibration of this thermometer.
