I ordered school pants from 6 different brands for my very slim 7 year old and they were MUCH better for my slim child. My 7 year old son is tall and skinny and you don't fit in his pants. Every other brand had so much extra fabric that it looked like he was wearing a skirt over his skinny little legs. These pants have a much narrower leg (for lack of a better description) and less material overall. They look like they really fit him, not like he's floating in fabric. I need to adjust my waist but I like this option. I ordered size 6 and 7 and size 6 works best with a belt,
