I live in North Florida, halfway between Tallahassee and Jacksonville, Florida. We can't get a ground wire where I live. I'm trying to cut TV costs, so I installed a 33-foot outdoor antenna. I used RG11 coax cable, an antenna preamp (ClearStream 4V antenna) and this 4-port distribution amplifier for three TVs and a radio. Results. I can catch 17 stations. (And that's with no antenna rotation at all. It only points south.) Some of the stations include MeTV, Charge, COMET, ME11, ABC, CBS, NBC, 3 different PBS stations in Florida, several PBS stations in Georgia, FOX. from Jacksonville, FOX from Orlando. (At 150 miles.) The picture on my HDTV I think is better than what I get from satellite broadcasts. Very happy with the results. My radio is picking up so many stations that I'm running out of preselects. And they are ALL understandable. I live in a very rural area on twenty acres surrounded by nine and a half acres of pine and oak trees. That's why I'm very surprised that I was able to catch so many channels. When my contract with Satellite expires, I cannot renew it. The distance from the antenna to the farthest TV is about 110 feet. I hope the details help you in your endeavors.
