This product is powered by coaxial cable. It is made in China. It is not UL approved. It's metal, but the back appears to be sealed with PVA glue or sealant. It heats up VERY quickly - within minutes. I'm afraid it will overheat and start a fire. It didn't seem to amplify the ONE outgoing cable I plugged in. He will be returned.

Let's get started I recently decided to shorten my cable. I installed a brand new antenna which gets about 12 channels, on a good day it gets 13 with juice added, now I get 39 channels, yes some channels I don't need but the ones that barely get it come out big now.
