Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Power & Stability: High Performance Motor Mounts for 2001-2010 GM GMC Chevy 6.6L Duramax Diesel Engines (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM) by Dustin Ramsey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The engine is strong and firm, but there is a lot of cab vibration below 1000 rpm.

I'm glad I replaced my original engine mounts on my 2006 LBZ, but I doubt I'll easily replace them should have used factory rubber mounts. My factory ones were completely destroyed and 100% in need of replacement. With these mounts, the vibrations when driving are very tolerable, but at idle and below 1000 rpm the cabin definitely vibrates quite a lot. Something vibrates in the door pockets or the center console. The rearview mirror also vibrates. Overall, the performance of these mounts is amazing, but they resemble a race truck more than an everyday driver. I also replaced the cab mounts with stiffer polypropylene mounts that increase vibration a little more than the engine mounts. I could replace the cab mounts with softer rubber and leave those engine mounts in the truck.
