Review on πŸ”‹ Energizer Premium Alkaline 9V Batteries, 2-Pack by Amanda Smith

NO EXPIRY DATE

I have contacted Revain and Energizer as this is the second time this year I have received batteries with no expiration date on the box, the box or the battery itself! As these 9 volt batteries were intended for smoke alarms, you can see that this is important information. There was a paper label with a bar code on the box which I believe was put there by Revain. So the expiration date could possibly have been lower, but you can't separate paper from paper. I have informed them that I can no longer purchase batteries through them as this information is blocked by their barcode label and I have not heard from Energizer on the matter. If I do I will update this review. Selling old batteries is nothing new to them. , last Christmas I got some AA's that expired in 6 months but I put up with it because all my Christmas decorations will run out of batteries within a few weeks anyway. UPDATE 6/28/21: Fixed issue with Energizer. The expiration date is printed on the battery, but there is no indication that these numbers are the expiration date. So after you say the battery is 9V, then the size format, then another line of smaller numbers, then the small 9V and then the larger 6 digit number (12-2025) is the expiration date according to Energizer.
