A nice looking pipe - but I would say this pipe nipple was at least a thread - probably two short. Pipe threads are tapered and the threads it had seemed to be about right for the outer threads. But after the threaded section there was quite a shoulder on the pipe nipple - and a coupling would screw on totally and then hit the shoulder and stop. If it didn't leak you were in business - if it did, there was no way to get an extra half turn because of the shoulder. We ended up chasing the threads with a threading die to add two more over the shoulder - something you shouldn't have to do - in order to attach the fittings.
- Good quality product. Not crap Chinese.
- Even with a lot of teflon tape, couldn't get a seal.
