I can definitely say that this is a better quality rug than other cheaper ones. I bought some mats for my backyard floor because my dogs walk out of the backyard in an obscene amount of dirt and mud. I bought 6 cheaper rugs to line the path from the door to her kennel and just one of these rugs to place on the interior door leading from the utility room to the rest of the house. This mat has better performance than others. It has rubber grips on the bottom to keep movement to a minimum and squares instead of rows on top to capture more debris. It appears to be very well made. However, we haven't had much rain since I bought the rug and this will be a real test of its value. I will update this review if the mat doesn't perform well in muddy conditions but for now it performs exactly as I expected. I find this to be a better rug than the cheaper ones and am happy with my purchase.
